Is the treadmill powered by a battery or a wall plug?

It comes with a power supply. Please plug it into wall outlet to power the treadmill up.

Can this treadmill be used on carpeted floor? What is the mat for?

Usually the floor carpet is thick and plush, which will affect the heat dissipation of treadmill. In this case, you can put the mat in between treadmill and carpet floor for normal use.

I'm concerned about the slanted mark on the running belt. What is it?

This is normal, it's where the belt is joined together. All treadmills have something similar and it won't affect the normal use.

Can I buy the handrail separately?

I'm sorry the handrail can't be purchased separately, as it is not removable.

Is the remote controller included in the package?

Yes, it is. If it is lost or damaged later and you would like to buy a new one, please leave a message telling us which model of treadmill you want the remote controller to work for when ordering, then we will send the correct one to you.

Do I need to unscrew the handrail each time to fold it down?

Yes, you need to screw the handrail for use and unscrew it to fold down for storage.

It got delivered last week Friday and I've already been on it twice. I am very impressed as a busy mum of 5 I don't often get time to go the gym or even get out for daily walks. This is so ideal I get to meet my step goals in the comfort of my home. It is very easy to store too when not in use, I slot it behind my sofa.
